Limone and Capo Reamol
The west shore at its most vertical: lemon-terrace village, cliffs straight into deep water, and just to the north the Capo Reamol shore whose wind-sport centres have made this stretch famous. Access is through the centres rather than off open beaches, and the afternoon wind makes it worth it.
Which wind works here
The afternoon Ora is the main course. This shore catches the thermal with power as it runs up the narrowing lake, and the Capo Reamol water is a renowned afternoon playground. Getting on the water
This is centre country: the shoreline is steep and road-bound, so windsurfers and wingfoilers get on the water through the established centres, which handle storage, launching and rescue cover. That structure suits visitors well, since gear logistics on this shore are genuinely hard without it. Kiting on this stretch is boat-based like most of the lake: operators work the Capo Reamol water by boat, so lessons and supervised sessions are on the menu here too. What does not exist is shore launching; for that, the club spots at Campione and Navene remain the lake's two addresses.
Good to know
The wind close under the cliffs can be shifty while the band a few hundred metres out runs clean and strong. Getting to that band and back is exactly what the centres are set up for. Deep water starts immediately, so the same self-sufficiency rules as Campione apply.
