Short version: Brezza’s forecasts are informed estimates and not guarantees, and the site’s content, code and data belong to its operator. Please don’t scrape or republish them.

1. Who we are

Brezza (“Winds of the Lake”) is a wind-forecasting service for Lake Garda, operated privately and published at windsofthelake.com. Using the site or app means you accept these terms.

2. Forecasts are information, not guarantees

Wind, weather and water conditions are forecast to the best of our ability, blending professional weather models with years of local calibration. But Lake Garda’s wind is notoriously difficult to predict, and no forecast replaces your own judgement on the day. Decisions on the water, including all safety decisions, are yours alone. Brezza accepts no liability for damage, injury or loss arising from reliance on the forecasts, live readings or any other content, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

All content of this site, including texts, guides, design, graphics, the application code and the forecasting methodology as expressed here, is protected by copyright. © 2026 Brezza / Winds of the Lake. All rights reserved. You may not copy, reproduce, translate or create derivative versions of the site or app, in whole or substantial part, without prior written permission.

4. Database rights

Brezza’s prediction and measurement records, the systematically collected archive of frozen forecasts, station measurements and derived accuracy data behind this service, constitute a database in which substantial investment has been made. This database is protected by the sui generis database right under Directive 96/9/EC (as implemented in EU member states, including Articles 102-bis and 102-ter of the Italian Copyright Act). Extraction or re-utilisation of the whole or a substantial part of its contents, or repeated systematic extraction of insubstantial parts, is prohibited without written permission.

5. Acceptable use

The site and its API exist to serve this app and its users. You may not: scrape, crawl or bulk-download content or data (beyond normal search-engine indexing of the public pages); consume the API from another website, app or service; frame or mirror the site; republish forecasts or measurements; or use automated means to burden the service. Personal, non-commercial use of the app, including sharing screenshots or a day’s verdict with friends, is welcome.

These terms and the service itself may change at any time; the current version of this page applies. If a provision proves invalid, the remainder stands.
